About Us

PROVIDING A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT

Open Arms Development Centre is a non-profit organization that provides essential services and support to the homeless population in Kingston and St. Andrew. The centre offers a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can access resources such as meals, clothing, and hygiene products. Additionally, the centre provides counseling services, job training programs, and assistance in finding affordable housing. We are dedicated in helping adults break the cycle of homelessness and regain stability in their lives.

The centre recognizes that homelessness is often the result of a combination of factors, including mental health issues and substance abuse. As a result, we offers comprehensive services that address these underlying issues and help individuals work towards long-term solutions. By providing a range of support services, Open Arms Development Centre aims to empower individuals to overcome the challenges they face and move towards a better future.

In addition to its direct services for the homeless in Kingston and St. Andrew, we plays an important role in raising awareness about the issue of homelessness in the city. Through community outreach programs, advocacy efforts, and partnerships with organizations, we work to educate the public about the realities of homelessness and the ways in which we can all play a role in addressing this issue.
